Dr. Henri' Thompson hosts Candidate Chats – a series of interviews with key community leaders and members

FAIRFAX, VA – Yesterday, Virginia State Senate President pro Tempore Louise Lucas stated:

“The time has come for me to speak out about an uncomfortable truth with some Democrats in Virginia. There are people working to shut Black leaders out of key positions and hiding behind regional arguments. Today I am going to call them out publicly. (Thread).”

Dr. Henri’ Thompson, a Democratic candidate for House of Delegates District 15, releases the following statement in response:

“Now more than ever we have an opportunity to work together as One Virginia and move forward step-by-step, identifying equal opportunities for everyone to be successful. Part of our responsibility as a community and commonwealth centers around having more conversations with each other, being honest about our history, and identifying ways to move forward into a brighter future for all of us.”

Thompson’s campaign will kick-off a new discussion series, Candidate Chats, throughout Fairfax County. The first conversation will be held on Saturday, April 29th at 10:00 a.m., additional details available at
